Knee Pain Physical Therapy in Koreatown, Los Angeles

If you've been dealing with knee pain that limits your ability to work out, hike, play sports, or even climb stairs without discomfort, you're not alone. Many people in Koreatown struggle with chronic knee issues that don't improve with rest, ice, or temporary fixes. At Hyena Rehab, our Doctors of Physical Therapy analyze your body from head to toe to uncover the root cause of your knee pain—and create a treatment plan that gets you back to doing what you love.

Why Your Knee Pain Keeps Coming Back

Knee pain often stems from issues elsewhere in your body—tight hips, weak glutes, or poor movement patterns can all contribute to ongoing discomfort. Without addressing these root causes, you'll keep experiencing flare-ups no matter how much you stretch or foam roll.

  • Limited Mobility

Struggling to squat, run, or even walk without pain affects your daily life and keeps you from staying active.

  • Failed Treatments

You've tried traditional PT, injections, or chiropractic care—but nothing provides lasting relief because the real problem isn't being addressed.

  • Fear of Surgery

Doctors suggest surgery, but you want to explore conservative options before going under the knife.

We Find the Root Cause of Your Knee Pain—Not Just Treat Symptoms

At Hyena Rehab, we don't waste time with cookie-cutter exercises or outdated modalities like electrical stimulation and ultrasound. Our Doctors of Physical Therapy take a biomechanical approach, analyzing how your entire body moves to identify the underlying issue causing your knee pain. Whether it's a hip imbalance, ankle instability, or movement compensation, we address the real problem—not just where it hurts.

One-on-one sessions — No double-booking or rushed appointments
Comprehensive assessments — Head-to-toe movement analysis
Customized treatment plans — Tailored to your body, goals, and lifestyle

"David is truly the best! I have played soccer my whole life and made it 30 years without a significant injury. So when I started getting knee pain that made it hard to use the stairs without pain (let alone workout, hike, play soccer), I was worried about what it would mean for my future. Working with David over the past 9 months has not only gotten rid of my pain completely but helped me get stronger and more stable."

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network practice that can generate a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement. We also accept HSA and FSA. This model allows us to deliver the highest quality of care without being restricted by insurance limitations.

How long does it take to see results for knee pain?
Many clients notice improvement after their first session, with significant relief typically occurring within 4–6 visits. However, results vary based on the severity of your condition and how long you've been dealing with pain. Our goal is to provide long-term solutions, not temporary fixes.

Do I need a doctor's referral?
No. Direct Access legislation in California allows you to see a physical therapist without a doctor's referral. You can receive up to 45 calendar days or 12 visits of direct physical therapy services.
